Sora was almost into the bedroom when they entered the camper van together...
Riku caught Sora's eye just as he closed the bedroom door...
The pain in his eyes was like nothing he'd ever seen before...
The silver haired teen got the keys off Marluxia and settled into the drivers seat.
"Everyone here and ready to go?"
Zexion looked around to see if everyone was there.
"Has anyone seen Sora?"
Roxas nodded.
"Yeah he's gone into the bedroom, he probably just needs a nap..."
Zexion looked confused.
"Didn't he just wake up like a couple of hours ago?"
The blonde teen nodded.
"Yup... Sora needs a hell of a lot of sleep..."
"Alrighty... Everyone's here then... Let's go..."
With that he climbed into the front seat next to Riku who looked unsettled as he turned the key in the ignition looking around he noticed no one was paying them any attention he hushed his voice and asked.
"What's wrong?"
The silver haired teen looked unsettled and sighed.
"He knows..."
Zexion paled.
"Who knows?"
Without taking his eyes off the road he answered.
"Sora..."
Zexion's eyes widened.
"How?"
Riku shook his head.
"No idea but he's in the bedroom on his own and I caught his eye just as he was closing the door... I've never seen him look so... Hurt."
Zexion shifted in his seat so that he was looking over at Riku.
"I don't suppose it'd to any good if I tried to talk to him?"
"I wouldn't if I were you... Knowing Sora he's blaming you right now instead of me..."
The blue haired teen cocked his head.
"But... You guys weren't dating... Right?"
"No we weren't... But I'm not so sure he knew that... Nothing was official..."
"So nothing happened between you two?"
Riku sighed.
"Well we..."
He lowered his voice to a barely audible whisper.
"The night Kairi and Roxas... Got together... So did me and Sora..."
"Oh... I see..."
Riku looked over at Zexion.
"It was a mistake... My desire overtook my sense of reason and he used me to get back at Kairi anyway... He told me as much afterwards..."
Zexion cocked his head to the side.
"Really? He doesn't seem like the type who would throw something like that up after having sex with someone..."
His face suddenly darkened in realisation.
"I know something about people like that... And he isn't that kind of person..."
The silver haired teen nodded.
"He doesn't seem like that kind of person... But he still did the same amount of damage... If I could change that night I would... And not because he hurt me... I just wish it hadn't happened at all... It was a mistake and now we've hurt each other and theres nothing I can do about it... I've known him years and I wish he didn't have to get hurt as a result of what I thought I wanted..."
Zexion nodded feeling reflective...
"I knew you liked him... But I didn't know you guys..."
Riku shrugged.
"No one knew... Except Axel... And that's because Sora told him..."
Zexion sighed.
"This makes things difficult..."
Riku snorted.
"As if things weren't difficult already?"
Zexion caught Riku's gaze for a moment.
"I mean your ex is in here... We were both involved with Axel and I fucked my best friend... And then theres everything else thats going on in here... How could thid be anymore difficult?"
The blue haired teen laughed.
"You know you're right..."
Riku sighed.
"The way I see it is... Well... If we want this to happen... It's going to be difficult... We're gonna have to deal with these situations and people eventually... So... I mean it'll just get easier from here right?"
Zexion's cheeks flushed a slight red.
"Are you..."
He cleared his throat and tried to hide the smile on his face.
"Are you... Asking me out?"
The last word came out as a squeak.
The silver haired teen laughed nervously.
"Uhm... Yeah... I guess I am..."
Zexion let the smile break out over his facial features.
"I'd love to be your boyfriend."
Riku's cheeks were beetroot as Zexion leaned across the front seat and kissed him gently on his cheek, much to the surprise of everyone in view.
Demyx looked over with satisfaction as Zexion laid his head on Riku's shoulder.
/I guess that sorts out that problem.../
Marluxia sighed and picked up a magazine.
/I guess theres no other reason for me to be here now... Maybe I'll just head home.../
Axel looked over as Demyx snuggled into him and felt something pull in his gut.
/He could use me... Abuse me... Fuck me... Treat me like shit then get dumped by his own boyfriend only to get stuck into the guy I was connecting with.../
His eyes caught on with the blue of Demyx's and he couldn't help but smile...
/Fuck them... They deserve each other.../
Sora sat alone in the bedroom crying softly.
His mind flashed back to the night they had sex.
He remembered it feeling so good...
So right...
Nothing like how it felt with Kairi...
But then the panic and upset of the night too...
How worried and angry Riku had been that he'd told Axel...
He remembered how Riku had held him so close and yet gently like he would break...
It seemed like he'd never let him go...
Now it seemed Riku couldn't stand the sight of him...
That his very presence irritated him...
Tears fell down the teens face as he thought about it.
His gut had been right...
And now it was too late...
Anything that they'd had going on was as good as lost...
A light knock came to the door shaking Sora out of his thoughts.
He pulled his wrist across his face to get rid of the tears as the door opened and closed softly.
Roxas walked over to the bed and sat down beside Sora.
"Let me start by saying you look like shit..."
The brunette laughed despite himself and sniffled.
"You always know just what to say to make me feel better huh?"
Roxas shook his head.
"I hate to be the bringer of bad news..."
Sora sighed.
"It's okay I saw them on their way in..."
The blonde teen bit his lip thoughtfully.
"Uhm... Well I overheard something and apparently it's gotten worse..."
Sora's blue eyes were opened wide.
"How could it possibly be any worse?"
Roxas sighed.
"Well now they're official..."
Tears welled up in Sora's eyes...
"Oh... Okay... Well... I guess that's just tough for me then huh..."
His words were steady but Roxas could hear sobs building up in the brunettes chest.
"Come here..."
He opened out his arms and closed them tightly around the sobbing Sora and rocked him gently.
"You'll be okay Sora... I know it hurts now... But... Things will get better..."
Guilt racked through Roxas' veins as he held his best friend who's ex girlfriend he just couldn't stop thinking about.
He inhaled and sighed deeply.
/I can't do this to him... Even if I do have feelings for her... He's in such a bad way.../
His forehead crinkled up in frustration as he pondered his situation.
Namine peeked around the doorframe at the two teens.
"Hey... Are you okay?"
Sora hid his face and Roxas motioned for her to leave and with that she pulled a face and left closing the door behind her.
"You'll be okay..."
/I hope.../
Namine took her seat back out in the main part of the campervan with everyone else...
"Is Sora okay?"
Namine glanced up from her phone.
"Huh?"
Without lifting his head from the magazine he was pretending to read Marluxia repeated the question.
"Is Sora okay?"
Namine sighed.
"Well he's in there sobbing his little heart out so no... He's not okay..."
Marluxia nodded.
/I know exactly how he feels.../
/Okay... So all I have to do is leave... I dont even have to tell anyone... I just have to go... Namine will know whats happened... Sora won't be concerned... I have enough money to get back home without having to ask anyone or arouse any suspicion.../
She had already packed her suitcase without anyone noticing.
The minute they stopped near civilisation again she was outta here...
/I'll take an early morning bus, train, plane whatever... That way I can go when everyones sleeping... And by the time they wake up they won't know where I am and they won't be able to follow me... Hopefully.../
She sighed glancing out the window then up at the front seat where Riku and Zexion were still sitting close together.
/Psssh... So it looks like no matter who I chose when I was younger I would've wound up in this situation eventually.../
She couldn't help but inwardly laugh at how bad the situation had gotten...
/Losing my virginity to a gay man, mistaken identity fuck, pregnancy scare, attempted suicide, gay guys screwing around everywhere and Axel picking up and hooking up with a stranger... You'd want to be crazy to want to stay here.../
"Guy's we're coming up to a town now... How about we stop for a bit? I'm beat and pretty hungry how about we all go get something to eat?"
Namine spoke up first.
"Riku no disrespect, but do you really expect us all to just forget everything thats happened and settle down and have a nice meal together? Not fucking likely..."
Kairi snorted.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but for once blondies right..."
"What do you mean 'for once'?"
"Exactly what I said... Would you like me to repeat it for you? Perhaps it is true what they say about blondes..."
Demyx looked up.
"Hey! Call her what you want but leave blondes outta it..."
"Call me what she wants? Demyx if you have something to say, just say it!"
Axel stood up.
"Hey! Back off! Leave Demyx outta your stupid little cat fight!"
"Stupid little cat fight? Eh this bitch slept with my boyfriend!"
Kairi stepped forward and her face was inches from Namine's.
"That was a mistake, I couldn't help that I couldn't see him and that I believed it was Sora... Now if you are so jealous of me that you can't get over that then I feel really sorry for you..."
The caravan fell silent and Kairi sat down again.
Demyx and Axel sat back down where they had been shocked and silenced by what Kairi had just said...
Marluxia just stared.
Namine's mouth opened and closed and opened again...
She wanted to talk to say something anything...
But Kairi was right...
She was jealous of her...
And so she simply sat down and said nothing...
Riku simply took a breath inwards.
"Well regardless of what you guys wanna do with your time here I'm gonna go get some food and it's late... So I'm stopping..."
With that he braked and pulled into a parking space in the town.
"Right... I'm going... And I'm taking the keys too... Anyone who wants to come and NOT argue is more than welcome."
Namine took a breath in.
"Yeah as if I don't have better things to be doing than watching you and Zexion suck face over dinner... I want to keep it in my stomach thank you very much..."
"Well at least I HAVE someones face to suck... Haven't seen much of you and Roxas doing that lately..."
Then Riku walked out closing the door after him but before he left he leaned back into the van's front seat.
"Sorry Marluxia..."
The pink haired man just shrugged and continued reading.
/At least he had the decency to apologise.../
Namine thought about what Riku had said...
/He's right... Roxas hasn't kissed me since... The hospital.../
The reality of this hit her like a tonne of bricks.
/What's going on?/
Slowly she stood up and went into the bedroom...
She noticed Sora asleep on Roxas lap...
He was stroking his hair softly...
Namine took in the scene and quietly closed the door after she entered.
"... Hi..."
Her voice was a whisper.
Roxas turned around slowly trying not to jostle Sora too much.
"Hi..."
She took a deep breath.
"I think we need to talk..."
Roxas nodded.
"Yes, I think so too..."
Namine sat softly down on the bed.
"I had something pointed out to me by Riku that I hadn't noticed..."
Roxas looked at Sora and spoke quietly.
"And what was that?"
She took a breath in an attempt to steady her voice.
"We haven't kissed since that hospital visit with Kairi..."
Roxas knew this all too well...
"I know..."
His words went through her like sharp knives.
"So... It was intentional..."
Roxas nodded slowly.
"But... Do I even want to know why?"
He took a deep breath.
"I just... I don't..."
He sighed...
"I don't want to hurt you but theres no easy way to say this..."
She looked him directly in the eyes.
"Then just say it..."
He turned his eyes to hers and just stared into her eyes for a moment.
"Namine... I don't love you anymore..."
The tears that were threatening to spill from her eyes did.
"I'm sorry..."
Namine took her face in her hands and cried...
He slowly put his hand on her back and rubbed slowly...
Until she moved away.
"I just need some time alone right now okay... So please..."
Roxas sighed and took his hand off her back.
"I really am sorry you know..."
With that he walked out of the bedroom and closed the door.
10 mins earlier:
/Okay while Namine Sora and Roxas are busy I'll take my chance.../
With that she picked up her suitcase and made her way out of the campervan.
"Hey... Where are you off to?"
Demyx was standing outside the camper van with two ice creams in his hands.
"I'm just going to do some laundry..."
The blonde teen cocked his head.
"You've worn all your clothes already!?"
Kairi forced a laugh.
"That's what girls are like dude three and four outfits a day you know?"
Demyx giggled and holding the two ice creams in one hand helped her out of the van with her suitcase.
"Thanks Demyx..."
He smiled at her and climbed into the van, then he jumped onto the sofa beside Axel who awoke with a start.
"Jesus... You scared the hell outta me!"
Demyx smiled and held out an ice cream for Axel.
"Look what I got you!"
The redhead smiled and took the ice cream from him.
"Awww thank you... Where did you get these?"
"Theres a little cafe just up the road they sell all sorts of stuff!"
Axel raised an eyebrow.
"Isn't it a little late for a cafe to be open?"
Demyx shrugged.
"Hey I'm not complaining..."
"Me neither..."
He gave Demyx a little squeeze with his free arm and started eating his ice cream.
Marluxia looked up from his magazine.
"Did anyone see where Kairi went?"
Demyx nodded enthuastically licking his ice cream.
"Yeah... She said she was gonna go do some laundry..."
"Alrighty..."
Just then Roxas walked out of the bedroom.
"I'm going on a walk..."
Marluxia looked up from his magazine.
"Want some company?"
"Sure..."
Roxas left the camper van in a hurry but before he could run off Marluxia walked in front of him.
"Roxas... Did something happen back there?"
The blonde teen nodded.
"Yeah... Basically I did what I had to do..."
Marluxia nodded.
"You broke up with Namine?"
Roxas nodded.
"I told her I don't love her anymore... And now she's back there crying... I feel awful..."
Marluxia considered this for a moment.
"If I told you I have my reasons to believe Kairi is preparing to leave..."
Roxas was wide eyed.
"She's gonna leave?"
"Possibly... Demyx bumped into her on her way out with a suitcase... She said she was going to do laundry... But I sincerely doubt thats true..."
The blonde teen nodded.
"I have to find her..."
Marluxia nodded.
"Very well... Do you have your phone?"
"Yeah..."
"Then we'll split up... You go up towards those shops and I'll check the launderette and the shops over there just in case she was telling the truth."
Marluxia smiled at Roxas.
"Don't worry we'll find her..."
Roxas smiled back at him.
"You have no idea how much I appreciate this..."
Marluxia waved his hand.
"Yeah yeah... We're wasting time go on!"
Roxas started running in the direction of the shops and Marluxia grinned to himself.
/I'm such a sucker for people in love.../
Roxas was looking into the shops and cafes that were still open and then running to the next one.
People were looking at him like he was crazy.
/I just have to find Kairi and then we'll just see how it goes... Right now just focus on finding her.../
Kairi was standing at the bus stop with her suitcase by her side.
/Okay... The bus is at 10:25... Ten minutes... I think I've given myself enough time without anyone getting alarmed.../
She looked up and down the road and pulled up her hood.
/In the morning I'll be home... I'll be in my house... I'll have my bed... My family around me and I can forget about this whole nightmare.../
Marluxia checked out the launderette...
He walked in and looked around the shiny chrome machines...
She definitely wasn't here...
With that Marluxia took out his phone and dialled Roxas number.
*Hello?*
*Hey it's Marly... Kairi isn't in the launderette...*
*Okay thanks Marluxia...*
*Good luck.*
With that he hung up and started to run up another street...
/I need to find her soon... She could already be gone... I have to try.../
Marluxia dialled Kairi's number into his phone...
It rang and rang...
Kairi checked the number and didn't answer...
She just pulled her hood closer in around her face...
/Five minutes... Come on... Don't let them find me... I just wanna go home.../
The phone rang out and Marluxia dialled Roxas number again.
*Hello?*
*I just called Kairi... She didn't answer... She can't be gone yet or she'd have answered...*
*Right... I've almost been everywhere... There's only one more place she could possibly be...*
*You're sure?*
*I ran it street by street... Trust me...*

Roxas ran down the final street she could be down as fast as he could.
"Kairi!"
She turned at the sound of her name and looked to see who was calling her.
/Roxas? What the hell?/
Spotting her suitcase and the hooded girl next to it he ran up to her and stopped next to her breathless.
"Kairi..."
She looked surprised.
"What... What are you doing here?"
"I should... Be... Asking... You... The same... Question..."
Kairi sighed.
"I... I just wanna go home Roxas... It just seems like the easiest thing to do... I mean this has been a nightmare for me so far... And I don't really wanna hang around to see what else goes wrong..."
Roxas nodded.
"I understand... But... I just need to let you know... I don't regret what happened between us..."
Kairi's mouth dropped open.
"What... What do you mean?"
"I just... I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since it happened... And I know Namine pressured you to take that pill... I just needed to tell you that..."
Kairi nodded slowly taking in what he'd just said as he caught his breath fully.
"Me and her... Broke up before I came here..."
The brunette's gaze caught Roxas'.
"You two broke up?"
Roxas nodded.
"After I saw how she treated you I just couldn't justify being with her any..."
"So you broke up with her over me?"
"No it's not like that..."
"Look Roxas... I have enough guilt and heartache on my shoulders without adding your relationship to the pile..."
Roxas' face dropped.
"I didn't come here to blame you Kairi... I came here to tell you that..."
"That you enjoyed fucking me... Yeah I got it..."
"No that's not it Kairi..."
The bus was coming up the road.
"Well my bus is here now so thanks... Now if you'll excuse me..."
"Kairi... I really like you... I care about you..."
She totally ignored him and put her hand out to stop the bus.
"I had a dream about you... You and me were together and you were holding our..."
Kairi turned to face him.
"Holding what?"
"... Our baby..."
Her face dropped and hardened again.
"Well Namine made sure she put an end to that..."
She wiped a tear from her eye and picked up her suitcase.
Roxas stood still as she moved towards the stopping bus.
"I think... I'm falling in love with you..."
She turned around and looked him in the eyes.
"Roxas... I... I don't know what to say..."
"Just tell me how you feel Kairi..."
"I'm not going to lie to you..."
His heart was beating like crazy.
"I'm still in love with Sora... And it's gonna take me a long time to get over that..."
Roxas nodded sadness filling his eyes and throat...
"But I'd like if you called me when you get home from this..."
He nodded looking up.
"So you're still going home?"
She nodded and kissing him on the cheek climbed the steps of the bus and paid the fare on.
"Thanks for waiting with me Roxas..."
He watched as she packed her suitcase onto the overhead shelf and took her seat by the window and with tears in his eyes waved to her as the bus pulled off.
Marluxia ran around the corner and saw the bus driving away and Roxas standing alone staring after it...
He ran up to Roxas and tried to catch his breath.
"What... Happened?"
Roxas wiped tears away from his eyes.
"I caught her on time... But she went anyway..."
Marluxia nodded.
"Did she say anything?"
"I told her that I think I'm falling in love with her... And she said she still loves Sora and that'd take a long time to get over but to call her when I get home... In other words she doesn't feel the same way I do..."
Marluxia shook his head.
"I wouldn't take it up that way... I would say shes giving herself time to get over what happened so that she can clear her head and make the right decision..."
Roxas looked Marluxia in the eye.
"How do you do that?"
"What?"
"You always manage to say something that makes me feel better... Even in a crappy situation like this you somehow improved my mood a little..."
Marluxia smiled and blushed a little.
"Practice? I dunno..."
Roxas smiled at him despite his mood.
"Hey you wanna go get something to eat?"
"Sure... How are you feeling?"
"Honestly? I feel like my heart just got ripped out and pissed on..."
Marluxia put his arm around Roxas and pulled him in a tight one armed hug, but Roxas stopped and hugged him full on...
Marluxia wrapped his arms around him tightly as Roxas cried into his shoulder.
"You're okay... You're gonna be fine..."
From a nearby restaurant window Zexion caught this moment and tapped Riku.
"Isn't that Roxas?"
Riku squinted out into the darkness.
"It is Roxas and he's hugging... Marluxia? I wonder whats going on there...?"
Zexion shrugged and started eating again.
"Wow... You're taking that well..."
Zexion shrugged ignoring the feeling in his gut...
"Well I'm with you now baby..."
Riku smiled over at Zexion and took his boyfriends hand across the table.
Outside Marluxia held Roxas who was beginning to calm down...
"Are you okay?"
Roxas shook his head and wiped his eyes with his sleeve.
"No but I'll be okay..."
Marluxia nodded and stopped hugging him but left his arm around his shoulder giving it a squeeze as they walked unaware out of Zexion's sight.

Summer Fic Chapter 10
Zexion's mind was running at ten miles a minute on the walk back to the camper van.
On the one hand he missed his ex...
On the other hand he was getting the hots for his love rival for Axel...
/Riku.../
Why did this spark so much excitement in him?
He sighed without noticing and Riku looked over at him.
"Hey... You sure you're okay?"
Zexion got an idea.
"You know I don't know... One minute I think I'm fine and then I'm just feeling... Hopeless... Stupid... Ugly... Unlovable..."
The blue haired teen glanced over at Riku to see if he was reacting.
Riku felt himself become tense...
/He can't be serious... Does he really expect me to fall for this? But if I don't answer him... He'll know I know what he's up to... You're hesitating... Do something.../
Riku turned to face Zexion and put his hands on his shoulders and forced himself to look into his eyes.
"You're not stupid ugly or unlovable..."
He let his eyes hold Zexion's for a moment longer than he knew he should of then let go of his shoulders and started to walk back in the direction of the camper van.
Zexion let a breath go he wasn't aware he had been holding in.
/Damn... He's better than I gave him credit for.../
Riku smiled to himself knowing that he could play Zexion as well as Zexion could play him.
/Heh... If it's games he wants it's games he'll get.../
Sora was looking out the front window wondering what was taking Zexion and Riku so long...
/Why am I feeling like this...? I've never been a jealous person... And even when I thought Riku was after Kairi I never felt like THIS.../
He shifted in his seat feeling uneasy, his eyes scanned all the paths leading up into the forest.
Sighing he looked at his feet resting up on the dashboard.
/Okay so you're jealous... But really what are the odds of... I mean it's not like they'd.../
An image of Riku and Zexion passionately kissing against a tree in the rain suddenly flashed through his head and he nearly yelped with the intensity of it.
/What the hell... Okay but really they HATE each other... And what are the odds of that like... Plus they both like... Axel.../
He could feel more jealousy bubble up under his skin.
/Damn it.../
His eyes scanned the forest paths leading to the forest fervently but he couldn't see them anywhere...
Crossing his arms his feet kicked the dashboard in frustration and noticed to his horror that it was in fact starting to rain...
/Riku... Please come back soon!/
His eyes searched the paths even harder as the rain started to obstruct his vision.
"So I'm kinda like the new addition to your gang then?"
Axel grinned.
"Yeah I guess you could call it that... I'm sorry this all happened at such a bad time..."
Demyx smiled and shrugged.
"My mom used to always say 'life happens when you're busy doing something else' I guess in this case thats true huh?"
The redhead stopped and kissed the blonde gently on the cheek.
"Just because stuff happened before doesn't change what I have and want now."
The blonde giggled shyly.
"I know... It's just that... Well... I guess it bothers me a little that they probably hate my guts for swooping in and taking you from them..."
Axel laughed.
"I'm pretty sure Zexion started hating me when I hit him in the face..."
Demyx forced a laugh.
"Yeah... But seriously Axel... I'm just a little worried..."
Axel kissed his lips and silenced him.
"Baby... I'm all yours... And yours only..."
The blonde smiled up at the redhead.
"Okay... I believe you..."
Axel took his hand and looked up at the sky.
"We should probably get back it looks like it's gonna rain... A lot..."
Demyx smiled and nodded.
"Okay... Can you promise me one thing though?"
"Shoot..."
"Don't leave me alone with Marluxia... He kinda creeps me out..."
"Sure thing... But try not to be too freaked out... I think he just has a hard on for sitar players..."
Demyx slapped Axel's arm.
"Don't even joke like that! I won't be able to look him in the eye... Seriously!"
The redhead pulled a very serious face and looked at him.
"I'm not joking... Zexion used to play the sitar and it drove him wild! He would practically rape him everytime he played!"
The blonde looked horrified and wouldn't move from the spot until Axel started to laugh.
He loosened up slightly and said very calmly.
"You were lying weren't you?"
The red head nodded and Demyx breathed a sigh of relief, then very calmly walked up to Axel and grabbed his balls tightly enough to get his attention but not tightly enough to hurt him.
Axel was wild eyed and stopped laughing instantly.
"Wha...?"
"I could hurt you dreadfully right now..."
The redhead sucked in a breath and didn't move a muscle.
"You could..."
Demyx smiled evilly and caressed Axel gently before releasing him and walking back down the path towards the camper van.
The redhead exhaled a pained breath.
"Okay Demyx... Lesson learned... I will never screw with you again... Hey... Where are you going? That's not fair! Haven't I learned my lesson?"
The blonde turned back.
"Tell you what... If you can catch me before we get out of the forest..."
Demyx ran his tongue across his upper lip and started to run.
Axel grinned and started to sprint after him.
Marluxia walked silently beside Roxas and watched him thoughtfully.
"Theres more to this than you're letting on..."
Roxas rolled his eyes.
"Well I haven't told you anything yet..."
The pink haired man nodded.
"True..."
The blonde exhaled deeply.
"Okay if I tell you whats going on do you absolutely swear not to utter a word of it to anyone back there?"
Marluxia nodded.
"I promise you I will not tell another soul..."
Roxas looked into his eyes and nodded.

Soaking wet and smiling shyly at each other they made their way down the path towards the camper van...
Zexion sighed...
"So what do we do when we get back?"
Riku shrugged sadness overtaking his features...
"We could just go back like this..."
He looked down at their interlocked hands and gave Zexion's hand a little squeeze.
"But what about Sora...?"
Riku sighed.
"I don't want to hurt him... But I dont think he understands what he wants yet... And I think I know what I want..."
Zexion smiled.
"I think I know what I want too..."
He stopped walking suddenly and caught Riku's gaze.
"But how do we explain what happened here...?"
The silver haired teen smiled.
"How about we just enjoy the walk back and figure it out later?"
Zexion smiled and nodded.
"Agreed."
Axel grabbed Demyx's hand at the edge of the forest...
Demyx had made it out but Axel still stood under the trees...
Axel was panting, Demyx was a fast runner, quite a bit faster than he had anticipated...
The blonde teen was panting too...
His clothes were stuck to him with rain and sweat.
Axel smiled.
"So I'm in and you're out... Where does that leave us in regards to our wager?"
Demyx smiled.
"Where would you like it to leave us?"
Axel thought about this momentarily then grinned and kissed Demyx lightly on the lips.
"How about we leave it at I make you a hot chocolate and you promise to cuddle me and not leave my side for the night?"
Demyx smiled.
"Sounds fair... Okay I can agree to that, on one condition!"
Axel put his arm around Demyx's shoulders.
"And whats that?"
"I get marshmallows in my hot chocolate..."
Axel kissed the blonde teen on the lips tenderly and nodded.
"Deal... Let's head back... We don't want you catching cold now do we?"
Demyx grinned and let Axel lead him back to the camper van.
Roxas and Marluxia were the first to arrive back to the camper van...
Followed shortly after by Demyx and Axel who were holding hands and smiling...
Sora looked out through the windscreen at the clearing rain...
/Everyone's back... Except them.../
"So do we just go back holding hands or would you rather explain it to Sora first?"
Riku sighed.
"He's gonna have to find out sooner or later... But going back and holding hands might be rubbing it in his face a little bit..."
"How about we just go back and see what happens..."
Riku nodded in agreement and reluctantly letting go of Zexion's hand walked out from the forest into the car park and towards the camper van...
As Sora saw them walking together across the car park he immediately felt his gut tighten...
It was like it knew something he didn't and it wasn't telling either...
He could see how they were looking at each other even from this far away...
This was what his gut had been trying to warn him about earlier...
Pity he didn't catch the warning quick enough...
As they approached he could see their shy smiles and their hands in their pockets like they didn't know what else they could be doing with them.
Their eyes smiling with untold secrets of things they'd shared that no one else could know or understand...
Riku had looked at him in a similar way only a matter of days ago...
What had changed?
He wasn't sure...
But as they walked in through the door he left the front seat empty, and walked into the bedroom shutting the door behind him, for the first time for as long as he could remember, he wanted to be left alone.
Summer Fic Chapter 9
Riku climbed back into the front seat gulping slightly as Zexion climbed in beside him he lowered his voice.
“Please let me sit here... I don't wanna sit back there with him...”
Riku nodded and checking everyone was in the van turned the keys in the ignition and the engine purred to life.
Marluxia was chatting away to Demyx, Axel was sitting with his arm around him and Namine was flipping through Axel's music magazine.
Roxas, Sora and Kairi were fast asleep in the bedroom.
And alone in the front seat sat Riku driving and Zexion looking out the window.
The blue haired teen pointed out the window.
“Look moo cows...”
Riku glanced over at the green meadow they were driving by, it was full of black and white dairy cows.
“Mmmhmmm...”
Zexion let his gaze drift over to Riku and wondered momentarily what he was thinking...
He seemed so focused yet uneasy...
/Am I making him awkward...?/
Riku watched the road in front of them as it came and went...
His focus was on the road...
But his mind was somewhere else completely.

Riku's heart was racing in his chest as Zexion's face turned away from the window to look sneakily at him again.

Zexion was shifting in his seat very slowly as if he was going to move closer to Riku...

Zexion's heart was pounding against his ribcage as he moved very slowly across the seat.

Then before Zexion could make it any further Sora jumped into the front seat between them which sent Zexion straight back to the window where he'd originally been sitting.
“Hey guys!”
Zexion simply stared out the window again like nothing had happened.
Riku's knuckles were white he was gripping the steering wheel so hard...
“Oh... Hi...”
“Hi...”
Sora looked from Zexion to Riku then shrugged and proceeded to tell them about the dreams he'd had.
The blue haired teen gazed sneakily over at Riku now and then as Sora told his stories.
/I don't think he's interested in Sora... Then again, he's got an excellent poker face.../
Riku nodded with feigned interest at Sora's dreams about dancing chocolate milkshakes...
/What was Zexion trying to do that time. Sit closer to me? Maybe it was just my imagination...? But then why was he blushing so much? I've never ever seen Zexion blush. He always seemed so... Sly and confident... Maybe he's just messing with my head... Well he's doing a bloody good job if he is isn't he Riku?/
Sora broke his concentration.
“Are you even listening to me?”
Riku nodded.
“Yes... It's just hard to concentrate on the road and such detailed dreams at the same time...”
The brunette smiled.
“Okay... I'll tell you all about it later then... I'm starving! Do you want me to make you something Riku?”

“Nah I'm good thanks...”
Zexion moved from his position at the window.
“Actually Sora could you grab me a bottle of water?”
The brunette looked at him oddly then nodded and went about making a sandwich.
Silence once again ruled the front seat.
Zexion sighed and fiddled with the knobs on the radio then looked frustrated when he couldn't get it to work.
Riku absently reached over and turned one of the knobs to turn it on, brushing lightly against Zexion's hand in the process...
Both hesitated for a moment, which Sora promptly broke up with by placing a sandwich on the dashboard.
They pulled back Riku clearing his throat and saying calmly.
“That's the button to turn the radio on...”
Zexion nodded and went back to staring out the window and Riku continued to pay attention to the road.
Sora cocked his head on seeing Riku's face.
“You look kinda flushed... What's up?”
Riku shook his head.
“Guess I'm just a little warm...”
With that he rolled the window down and let the cool breeze ruffle his hair...
Sora took him in...
He had an unfamiliar feeling rising in his gut and he didn't like it one bit...
Riku shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
“Hey guys do you mind if we stop driving for a little bit? I'm not feeling so hot...”
There was a general sound of approval from the occupants of the camper van and Riku started to look for a spot where they could pull over.
“I'll go get you some water!”
Sora ran off to get Riku some water and while the brunette was gone Zexion turned and winked at him.
Riku felt the redness creep back up into his face...
His eyes spotted a sign for a nature reserve and he immediately took the turn off.
“Hey guys look a nature reserve... At least while I get some air you guys will have something to do...”
He pulled into the car park fast and hopped out almost immediately throwing the keys to Marluxia who caught them with ease.
Riku started walking quickly in the direction of the nearest entrance to a forest.
“I'll go after him... Just to make sure he's okay...”
Sora watched as Zexion hopped lazily out of the car after Riku with increased interest.
The feeling in his gut grew.

Zexion didn't want to appear too interested...
But could he really help it, with how Riku seemed to be filling up his every thought and emotion right now...
He moved slowly up the path after him and quickened up once he was out of sight.
Marluxia grinned across at Demyx.
“So any chance you wanna play some more?”
The blonde teen blushed.
Axel smiled at him sweetly.
“Only if you want to baby...”
Demyx shrugged.
“Well... If it's cool with you I'd like to go for a walk...”
The redhead grinned at Demyx and taking him by the hand led him out of the van.
They started off up a random path...
“So...”
Axel looked at the awkward blonde.
“What's up?”
“Uhm... No pressure, but I just wondered if you could tell me why... Why you tried to kill yourself now?”
The redhead nodded slowly.
“I can just promise you won't judge me or feel any different about me afterwards...”
Demyx shook his head.
“I can't promise you that... I don't know how it'll make me feel...”
Axel nodded.
“Okay... Well... Basically... I was feeling very lonely...”
“Why were you feeling lonely?”
The redhead sighed.
“Well everyone in the van has known each other for years and years...”
“Uh huh...”
“And well...”
Axel gulped wondering how Demyx would take what he was about to tell him.
“I liked one of the guys in there for a while...”
Demyx nodded.
“How long a while?”
Axel sighed again.
“Years...”
Demyx nodded understanding.
“Go on...”
The redhead sat down on a bemch under some trees.
“Sit down...”
The blonde took a seat near enough to touch but far enough so he could look at Axel.
“Okay... I liked this guy for a long time...”
“Which guy?”
Axel blinked in surprise.
“Why do you want to know that?”
Demyx shrugged.
“Well why not? I mean you know my story... Just because there aren't many details shouldn't mean it doesn't count...”
Axel nodded.
“Okay okay...”
He took a deep breath.
“Right then... I liked Zexion for years...”
Demyx nodded interested.
“So what happened?”
“Well... Him and Marluxia got together...”
“And?”
“I liked him from afar... Nothing ever happened between us...”

“Until this holiday...”
Demyx's face dropped a little.
“Ohhh... I see...”
“Yeah... But he was still with Marluxia... He slept with me, convincing me that he'd tell Marluxia how it was when we got back... He didn't... He went to him and kissed him the minute we got in and grinned at me... As if to say... 'What you really think I'd leave him for you?'”
Demyx nodded.
“I see...”
Axel sighed.
“Sadly theres more...”
“What else happened?”
“Riku happened...”

“We kissed... Once or twice... It was nothing... Then I started to have feelings for him... And he slept with Sora...”
The blonde nodded slowly.
“So thats when...?”
Axel nodded.
“Shortly after that... I met you, kissed you... And got kicked out of the bar by your homophobic stepfather.”
Demyx laughed slightly.
“Then I went back, full of drunken courage and swallowed as many pills as I could...”
“Who found you?”
Axel sighed.
“Zexion was in the bathroom... But in my state I didn't even think to check I just assumed everyone was sleeping or out... He caught me when I fell to the floor and tried to make me vomit...”
“He suceeded?”
Axel shook his head.
“Nope... I kept my jaw clamped shut... But the alcohol you served me did... If I hadn't of been at your bar that night, I could be dead right now and I might never have met you...”
The blonde smiled.
“So why did you punch Zexion?”
Axel rolled his eyes.
“Fucker tried to block me from leaving the camper van... I wanted to go out and walk... Go and see you... But then Riku stopped me... So I said I'd settle down if he would let me stop off at your bar before we left... And he did...”
Demyx nodded thoughtfully.
“It makes sense now...”
“What does?”
“I wondered why those two looked so pissed off when we kissed... Everyone was cheering but those two...”
Axel raised an eyebrow.
“Really? I can't say I noticed...”

“So I'm dating the number one sought after guy in our group?”

“I dunno... Theres other people in there besides Zexion and Riku... And I'm pretty sure neither of them like me anymore...”

“Woah woah woah! Dude time out I'm beat... How about you slow down and we talk about why the hell you're running away from your girlfriend?”

“What makes you think I'm running from her? Who says I'm not running from Kairi?”

“Well the fact that you seemed okay until you came back into contact with Namine.”

“I'm okay now... Fantastic in fact... So why don't we head back?”

He slowly got closer and closer until his body was mere centimetres from Riku's, Zexion breathed gently on Riku's neck making every hair on the older teens body stand on end.

Zexion backed off and looked into Riku's eyes with an absolute innocence that made Riku question himself.

“Well do you wanna go back or would you like to come on a walk with me?”

Marluxia grinned across at Demyx.
“So any chance you wanna play some more?”
The blonde teen blushed.
Axel smiled at him sweetly.
“Only if you want to baby...”
Demyx shrugged.
“Well... If it's cool with you I'd like to go for a walk...”
The redhead grinned at Demyx and taking him by the hand led him out of the van.
They started off up a random path...
“So...”
Axel looked at the awkward blonde.
“What's up?”
“Uhm... No pressure, but I just wondered if you could tell me why... Why you tried to kill yourself now?”
The redhead nodded slowly.
“I can just promise you won't judge me or feel any different about me afterwards...”
Demyx shook his head.
“I can't promise you that... I don't know how it'll make me feel...”
Axel nodded.
“Okay... Well... Basically... I was feeling very lonely...”
“Why were you feeling lonely?”
The redhead sighed.
“Well everyone in the van has known each other for years and years...”
“Uh huh...”
“And well...”
Axel gulped wondering how Demyx would take what he was about to tell him.
“I liked one of the guys in there for a while...”
Demyx nodded.
“How long a while?”
Axel sighed again.
“Years...”
Demyx nodded understanding.
“Go on...”
The redhead sat down on a bemch under some trees.
“Sit down...”
The blonde took a seat near enough to touch but far enough so he could look at Axel.
“Okay... I liked this guy for a long time...”
“Which guy?”
Axel blinked in surprise.
“Why do you want to know that?”
Demyx shrugged.
“Well why not? I mean you know my story... Just because there aren't many details shouldn't mean it doesn't count...”
Axel nodded.
“Okay okay...”
He took a deep breath.
“Right then... I liked Zexion for years...”
Demyx nodded interested.
“So what happened?”
“Well... Him and Marluxia got together...”
“And?”
“I liked him from afar... Nothing ever happened between us...”
“Okay...”
“Until this holiday...”
Demyx's face dropped a little.
“Ohhh... I see...”
“Yeah... But he was still with Marluxia... He slept with me, convincing me that he'd tell Marluxia how it was when we got back... He didn't... He went to him and kissed him the minute we got in and grinned at me... As if to say... 'What you really think I'd leave him for you?'”
Demyx nodded.
“I see...”
Axel sighed.
“Sadly theres more...”
“What else happened?”
“Riku happened...”
“What?”
“We kissed... Once or twice... It was nothing... Then I started to have feelings for him... And he slept with Sora...”
The blonde nodded slowly.
“So thats when...?”
Axel nodded.
“Shortly after that... I met you, kissed you... And got kicked out of the bar by your homophobic stepfather.”
Demyx laughed slightly.
“Then I went back, full of drunken courage and swallowed as many pills as I could...”
“Who found you?”
Axel sighed.
“Zexion was in the bathroom... But in my state I didn't even think to check I just assumed everyone was sleeping or out... He caught me when I fell to the floor and tried to make me vomit...”
“He suceeded?”
Axel shook his head.
“Nope... I kept my jaw clamped shut... But the alcohol you served me did... If I hadn't of been at your bar that night, I could be dead right now and I might never have met you...”
The blonde smiled.
“So why did you punch Zexion?”
Axel rolled his eyes.
“Fucker tried to block me from leaving the camper van... I wanted to go out and walk... Go and see you... But then Riku stopped me... So I said I'd settle down if he would let me stop off at your bar before we left... And he did...”
Demyx nodded thoughtfully.
“It makes sense now...”
“What does?”
“I wondered why those two looked so pissed off when we kissed... Everyone was cheering but those two...”
Axel raised an eyebrow.
“Really? I can't say I noticed...”
Demyx giggled.
“So I'm dating the number one sought after guy in our group?”
Axel shrugged.
“I dunno... Theres other people in there besides Zexion and Riku... And I'm pretty sure neither of them like me anymore...”
Axel stood up and offered his hand to Demyx which he took.
/I wouldn't be so sure about that.../
Roxas woke up and stretched slowly his eyes caught sight of Kairi on the floor.
He stood up and looked at her.
/Poor thing... She's been through a lot.../
With that he picked her up and placed her gently on the bed and pulled the covers over her.
Her eyes flickered open slightly and she whispered Sora's name...
The blonde teen moved a few strands of hair from her face and left her to sleep in peace.
Namine's eyes raised to Roxas leaving the bedroom.
“Hey sleepyhead...”
“Hey...”
“Did you sleep well?”
He nodded thinking about the dreams he'd been having...
“What's wrong?”
About the dark haired baby that looked just like Namine but was in the arms of Kairi...
“Nothing... Just not fully awake yet...”
The baby had grabbed his finger...
“You sure? You seem kinda... Off...”
His lips had met Kairi's...
“Yeah... Just feeling a little disorientated... Where are we anyway?”
They had seemed like a perfect little family...
“Some national park... Riku wasn't feeling too well.”

“So where are they now?”

The blonde girl shrugged.
Kairi however had gained his undisputed respect...
“I have no idea...”

Roxas nodded.
She had put his and Namine's relationship before her own morals.

Kairi had guts and balls to spare as far as he was concerned.
Namine looked at his far away expression.
Roxas was pretty sure she was gaining something else too...
“You sure you're okay?”

Namine shook her head and went back to reading the music magazine.

Sighing he looked around the room absent mindedly.
Namine was still reading her magazine and Roxas was staring at his feet and Sora appeared to be sulking in the front seat...
He rolled his eyes.

“Uh... I'm gonna go for a walk... Would anyone like to join me?”
Namine shook her head and Roxas nodded, she looked at him oddly and then shrugged.
Sora continued pouting and didn't even answer.
“Okay then... Have fun...”
Marluxia walked out of the camper van and stretched Roxas practically started running away from the van.
The pink haired man shrugged and followed obediently.
When Roxas eventually slowed down Marluxia stopped to catch his breath.
“Woah woah woah! Dude time out I'm beat... How about you slow down and we talk about why the hell you're running away from your girlfriend?”
The blonde turned and took in Marluxia.
“What makes you think I'm running from her? Who says I'm not running from Kairi?”
Marluxia shrugged.
“Well the fact that you seemed okay until you came back into contact with Namine.”
“Yes I was sleeping.”
The pink haired man nodded raising a hand to his chin thoughtfully.
“You never acted like that around her before...”
Roxas sighed.
“I'm just stressed out with everything thats happened...”
“You mean you're stressed because you screwed your girls best friend?”
“BY ACCIDENT!”
Marluxia held his hands up.
“Okay okay... Jeez... I was just trying to help you out...”
Roxas stopped walking and looked up to the sky...
“I've just... I don't know...”
The pink haired man laid a hand on Roxas shoulder.
“Hey if you want to talk go ahead... If not that's okay... What's said here stays between you me and the trees.”
Roxas looked into his blue eyes and wondered if he could really trust him...
“Maybe we should just keep walking... I need time to think...”
Marluxia nodded.
“Of course as you wish.”
Kairi woke up slowly and found herself alone...

She looked around herself and found that she was still fully clothed but someone had taken the care to lift her from the floor and tuck her into bed.

She pondered the thought for a moment and then pushed it away again.

She sighed sadly to herself and lay back again staring at the ceiling.
/This absolutely sucks.../
Riku continued walking quickly into the woods.
/What the hell is going on? Why is Zexion acting like that towards me? Is he just trying to get laid?/
An image of Zexion on top of him flashed through his mind.

He was shaking his head at himself and backing off when he bumped into someone.
“Zexion?”
He jumped when he realised who it was.
“W...What are you doing here?”
The blue haired teen shrugged.
“You said you weren't feeling well I wanted to make sure you were okay.”
Riku backed away from Zexion slowly and backed himself into a tree.
“I'm okay now... Fantastic in fact... So why don't we head back?”
Zexion approached him slowly.
“Why so nervous Riku?”
He slowly got closer and closer until his body was mere centimetres from Riku's, Zexion breathed gently on Riku's neck making every hair on the older teens body stand on end.
“I... I...”
Zexion backed off and looked into Riku's eyes with an absolute innocence that made Riku question himself.
/Maybe he's not doing this on purpose.../
Zexion started off up the path.
“Well do you wanna go back or would you like to come on a walk with me?”
The silver haired teen hesitated.
/See its innocent... Or a plot to get back at Marluxia...?/
The blue haired teen disappeared out of his sight up the path and Riku went almost immediately after him.
“Hey wait up!”
Zexion cocked his head.
“Have you decided to come with me?”
Riku shrugged and Zexions face lit up in a smile which made Riku's heart all but melt.
“I'm glad, I don't really like walking alone...”
Riku took a deep breath and followed Zexion up the path into the woods.
“I think it's weird how we've never talked much before today...”
Riku shrugged.
“Not really... You were busy with Marluxia and most of my attention was focused on... You know...”
Zexion nodded.
“I only wish I'd have paid more attention to the other people around me rather than lavished it all on him...”
Riku laughed.
“Would you be saying that if you were still together?”
Zexion stopped and shook his head.
“I guess not...”
Riku shrugged.
The blue haired teen looked hopeless.
“I just feel so... Confused...”
“How so?”
Zexion sighed.
“One minute I'm angry... Then I miss him... Then I don't... Then I'm horny... Then I'm frustrated... Then I'm full of longing... Then I'm just blank...”
Riku nodded wondering what exactly he was getting at.
Then suddenly Zexion stopped in front of him and looked into his eyes.
“Have you ever been in love Riku?”
The silver haired teen shook his head.
“I thought I was once... Turns out I wasn't...”
Zexion nodded.
“It seems so fun at first, you can't get them out of your head... Every little touch from them makes your hair stand on end... You long to kiss them... You long to hear their voice... Making love to them is simply mind blowing... Even lying next to them makes you shine with happiness...”
His face turned dreamy for a moment then turned suddenly cold again.
Riku put a hand on Zexion's shoulder.
“Are you okay?”
The blue haired teen let out a long sigh...

Riku nodded and slowly they headed back towards the camper van.
Summer Fic Chapter 8
He was still throwing up when everyone arrived back at the camper van.
Riku stormed in with Sora in tow and grabbed him by the shoulder.
“What the hell Axel? What the fuck were you thinking?”
The redhead managed to shove his hand from his shoulder before throwing up again.
“Just piss off Riku...”
Zexion sighed.
“He's had a rough time... We should probably leave him be... But certainly not leave him alone...”
Riku shot Zexion a look that the concerned teen didn't even respond to.

Riku took in the scene...
Zexion was sitting close to Axel and reassuring him despite being told to fuck off everytime Axel could breathe...
Riku didn't like this one bit...
Axel was breathing heavily leaning over the toilet.
Zexion was sitting on the floor of the tiny bathroom near him.
“You okay?”
“Fuck off Zexion... Havent you fucking degraded me enough?”
Zexion sighed.
“Okay Axel... I'm sorry...”
“You think because you made me throw up the pills I'll fall down at your fucking feet and see that you're amazing? I want to die... And you couldn't even let me have that...”
Zexion shook his head.
“I don't want you to die Axel... When I saw you there swallowing those pills...”
Axel stumbled to his feet.
“Yeah and I don't care...”
Axel stumbled out of the bathroom and towards the door.
Zexion stood up from the floor.
“Where are you going?”
“Out!”
“You can't go out Axel we need to get you to a hospital...”
“I am not going to a fucking hospital... And Zexion I don't know what you're taking but I liked you better when you were a prick...”
Zexion stood in front of the door blocking Axel's path.
“Zexion you'd best not give me a reason to hit you right now... Because I WILL.”
The blue haired teen braced himself and didn't move...
Axel swung full force and punched Zexion in the nose, he fell back through the door which swung open and fell onto the ground.
He reached up to his nose and looked at the blood on his hand...
It was the same colour as Axel's hair...
He was wide eyed, he knew Axel would hit him, but was still shocked by the blood on his hand...
Axel shook his head at the blood on his t shirt and went in to change, everyone moved out of his way as he moved...
Except Riku.
“So what you think you can just fucking waltz in here try to off yourself and then throw a fucking tantrum when your friends are concerned about you? It's not gonna work like that Axel...”
Axel's eyes narrowed.
“Riku... I'm in no fucking mood...”
Riku moved closer to him really getting in his face.
“And you think I fucking am! Now sit the fuck down we're going to a hospital NOW!”
Axel sat down in the shock of Riku raising his voice to him.
The silver haired teen took a deep breath.
“Look Axel... I get you're going through tough shit right now okay... But we need to get you checked out and make sure that you puked all that shit outta your system... Plus it looks like you may have broken Zexion's nose...”
He smiled slightly without intending to do so at this fact.
“Right... Is everyone here?”
“Me, Axel, Sora, Marluxia, Kairi, Roxas, Namine and Zexion... Okay, dude do we have a map anywhere...?”
The redhead sighed calmer now.
“Can I just go to one place before we leave completely?”
Riku raised an eyebrow.
“Uhm... Okay I guess... Where?”
Axel laughed humourlessly.
“A little bar in town... I have to apologise to someone...”
The silver haired teen nodded and after helping Zexion into a seat and giving him a towel to keep the blood coming from his nose at bay, he pulled off down the hill to the town.
“Right Axel we're coming up to that pub... Be quick okay?”
Axel nodded.
“Sure thing... Thanks Riku.”
The redhead waited by the side door and when Riku pulled up to the pub Axel was out even before the vehicle fully stopped...
Everyone in the van watched as Axel peeked in through the window and waved then went inside...
Riku had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.
The blonde was standing behind the bar.
“Hey... What's up...”
Axel smiled.
“I'm sorry about the other night... I was just... Stupid...”
With that he turned on Demyx and walked out through the front door...
The blonde dropped the glass he had in his hand and jumped over the bar.
He followed Axel outside and tipped him on the shoulder, Axel turned and Demyx captured his lips with his own.
Cheers escaped the windows of the camper van...
But two of its occupants watched from the windows in heartbreak, as the blondes arms found their way around the redheads neck.
Demyx pulled back slowly, looking into Axel's green eyes.
“Take me with you.”
Axel's eyes blinked in surprised and a smile broke out over his features.
“That's a crazy idea...”
His blue eyes twinkled in anticipation.
Axel turned to the camper van and all the staring eyes.
“Room for one more guys?”
All but two of the occupants of the camper van cheered.
“I guess thats a yes then...”
The blonde grinned from ear to ear then grabbed Axel's hand and ran back into the pub.
“I just gotta grab some things quickly before Xaldin gets back from lunch...”
Axel smiled at Demyx as he ran up some back stairs which Axel followed him up...
He grabbed some random items and ran back down.
“Do you live here?”
Demyx shook his head.
“Not all the time...”
The redhead shot him an odd look.
“Xaldin's my stepdad... He's really ehm... Weird about people being gay... Gayness as a general whole... Yeah... He's tried to set me up with endless local girls...”
Axel nodded in understanding.
“Hey is it okay if I stop by my house? I just gotta grab some clothes... It's only up the street.”
“Sure.”
The two ran out of the pub again and the interested crowd gathered at the window again.
“Where are they going now?”
An interested Sora asked.
Demyx opened the front door to a house with a yellow door, Axel followed him in.
“Are you sure you just want to up and leave here? You're sure you won't regret this tomorrow or a week down the line?”
Demyx opened his bedroom door and entering pulled open the closet.
He pulled out a travellers backpack and started throwing things into it, Axel laughed and started helping him.
“I promise you Axel... I won't regret this.”
The redhead smiled and kept throwing things into the backpack.
“Okay... Thats everything... I just need to grab my sitar...”
Axel raised an eyebrow.
“What's a sitar?”
Demyx grinned.
“Like a guitar... But ten times cooler!”
Axel laughed.
“Right is that everything?”
Demyx nodded he was shaking.
The redhead noticed his trembling limbs.
“What's up...? You changed your mind?”
The blonde shook his head.
“I'm just so excited... And nervous... I hope your friends will like me...”
The redhead smiled.
“They will I'm sure.”
Demyx nodded and pulled the backpack onto his back, then grabbed the sitar case.
“Okay, I'm ready!”
Axel led the way down the stairs, Demyx stopped in the hallway and scribbled a quick note.

With that they went out of the front door and walked briskly back up the street to the campervan.
Axel opened the door and let Demyx climb in first who waved shyly.
“Everyone, this is Demyx... Demyx this is Riku, Kairi, Zexion, Sora, Namine, Roxas and Marluxia.”
Demyx blushed slightly.
“Nice to meet you all, thanks for letting me join you.”
Demyx looked out the window and spotted Xaldin in the window of the pub.
“DRIVE!!!”
Riku put his foot on the accelerator and the van surged forward sending everyone off their feet.
“Ooops... Sorry guys... Next stop the hospital!”
Demyx looked confused.
“Uhm... Why are we going to the hospital?”
Everyone pointed at Axel and Zexion.
“Oh... I see... Jeez... How did that happen?”
Zexion pointed at Axel.
“Axel! You did that!”
The redhead looked down at his trainers.
“Uhm... Yeah... But... Can I explain this to you a little later?”
Demyx was wide eyed.
“Uhm... Okay... Mental note... Do not piss Axel off!”
Axel shook his head.
“I swear to you I've never done it before and never plan to again!”
The blonde grinned.
“I believe you, you don't seem like the type...”
Zexion rolled his eyes and Riku snorted.
/Not the type? Ha... Yeah what the fuck ever... Smashed my nose up good for trying to help him... Bastard.../

Roxas whispered something to Namine then nudged Kairi to follow him into the bedroom, which she did almost immediately.
Roxas sat down on the bed and Kairi closed the door firmly after herself.
“Okay... We're heading towards the hospital now... Have you ever gotten this... Pill before?”
Kairi shook her head.
“No... I have no idea what to ask for or anything... I'm really scared...”
The door clicked open and Namine stood in the doorway, she closed the door behind herself gently.
Kairi kept her eyes firmly on the ground.
Namine sighed.
“Kairi, I'm sorry for being so angry at you... This is a ridiculious and unbelievable situation to be in and I want to help...”
The aunburn girl looked up from her shoes into her best friends eyes, she stood up and hugged her closely and burst into tears.
“Namine I'm so sorry I never meant for it to happen I thought he was Sora and just...”
She was trying to catch her breath through her tears.
Namine held her and patted her back gently.
“It's okay it's okay... I'll come in with you and we'll get this whole mess sorted out okay?”
Kairi nodded sobbing.
“You'll be okay... I promise... I had to get it once before and its fine...”
Kairi nodded as her friend held her.
“Thank you Namine... I'm so sorry!”
“It's okay... We all make mistakes... Let's just get this sorted out...”
Kairi nodded wiping the tears from her eyes.
They arrived at the hospital less than half an hour later.
Riku helped Zexion out of the van.
“You're okay... Come on...”
Axel hopped out of the van, Demyx looked at him questioningly.
The redhead sighed.
“Remember last night when I said 'thanks for my last kiss'?”
Demyx nodded slowly.
“Well... I tried to overdose when I got back here...”
The blonde was wide eyed.
“What? Why? Are you okay?”
Axel kissed his lips softly.
“Yes I'm fine... The guys just want me to get checked out is all... I puked almost immediately after taking the pills...”
Demyx nodded slightly shocked.
“I'll talk to you about it later okay?”
The blonde nodded.
“Okay...”
Once they were gone Namine walked out of the bedroom.
“I gotta go use the bathroom...”
Demyx started to speak when Marluxia stopped him.
“Dude... She barely ever uses the bathroom in here... It's just a thing she has...”
The blonde nodded looking bewildered.
Marluxia laughed a little.
“We probably seem really weird right now... But trust me you'll get used to us... By the way... What's that case you have with you?”
Demyx's face lit up.
“Oh that's my sitar!”
“You play the sitar?”
The blonde nodded proudly.
“Would you mind showing me?”
Demyx smiled and unclipped his sitar case as Kairi moved across the room and out the door.
She could hear Demyx tuning his sitar before walking into the brightly lit hospital.
/Deep breaths Kairi.../
She saw Namine standing near the reception.
“Okay... Usually you need a prescription... But they should have a family planning part to the hospital where they'll give it to you after you chat to a doctor...”
The brunette girl nodded slowly, thoughts wandering.
Namine walked up to the reception desk.
“Hello... I was just wondering if you have family planning services available in this hospital?”
Kairi watched as the woman explained the way...
She wanted to run...
Her mind created this tiny little thing inside her, with a beating heart and hands...
Namine linked her arm.
Kairi knew life wouldnt even be in existence yet...
But maybe the beginnings of it would be...
Her heart sank as Namine led her to the family planning doctors office.
“Okay... You seem to be fine Axel... Your blood is carrying a bit of the drug around your body but its harmless... You're lucky you vomited...”
Axel nodded understanding.
“How are you feeling Axel?”
The redhead shrugged.
“Pretty good actually... I'm glad I didn't succeed...”
The doctor nodded.
“Okay... Is there someone waiting for you to take you home?”
Axel nodded.
“Well my friends are waiting on me outside... But we're in the middle of a holiday travelling around the place.”
The doctor nodded.
“I see... Well take care Axel... I'd advise you to stay around your friends especially if you are feeling extremely low... But if you're all travelling around together that shouldn't be a problem.”
Axel nodded.
“Trust me... I won't be trying that again...”
The blonde haired doctor nodded.
“Glad to hear it...”
“Thanks doctor...”
“Vexen... And you're welcome.”
Kairi sat in the waiting waiting room with Namine who was flipping through a magazine...

“Next please...”
Namine nudged Kairi.
“Do you want me to come in with you?”
Kairi shook her head and walked in to see the doctor.
“Hello... Kairi... What can I do for you?”
The brunette girl closed the door behind her.
“Uhm... I need to get the morning after pill...”
The doctor nodded looking at her with a straight face.
“Okay... Have you taken it before?”
Kairi took a seat.
“No... This is my first time...”
“Okay, we just need to take your blood pressure...”
He strapped a soft piece of material around her arm and checked.
“Your blood pressure is normal... How long ago did intercourse take place?”
“Uhm... I think it was less than 24 hours ago...”
The doctor nodded.
“It hasn't been over 72 hours?”
“Definitely not.”
“Okay then...”
He handed her a small box.
“You just need to take this once, you may experience some lower abdominal pain, but it will pass within an hour or so... Okay?”
Kairi nodded and put the box in her pocket.
“Thank you... Will I pay you... Or...?”
“You can pay the receptionist on the way out.”
“Okay thank you...”
The brunette left the doctors office and paid the lady in the small waiting room.
Namine got up and walked over to Kairi.
“So did you get it?”
She nodded.
“Okay... We'll get some water out of the vending machine and you can take it before we get back into the van okay?”
“... Okay...”
Namine put her arms around Kairi.
“It's okay... You can stop worrying now... That pill is like 99.7% effective or something really high like that.”
They approached the vending machine and Namine bought a bottle of water.
Kairi sighed and took the pill out of her pocket, she took it out of its little cardboard box...
Staring at the little silver blister packet she popped the pill out of the foil and looked at it...
Then with one movement she threw the pill into her mouth and Namine gave her the water which her washed the pill down her throat with.
Namine smiled.
“Now... It's over and done with... You can stop worrying.”
Kairi nodded her hands travelled absently to her abdomen.

“Oh my god! You're so awesome you know that?”
Demyx blushed as he put the sitar back into its case.
“Seriously that's so cool!”
Riku was sitting in the front seat for about twenty minutes absently playing with the keys to the van when Zexion slid the door of the van open Riku's eyes gazed over to the opening door...
Zexion's nose had some small stitches in it and when he caught sight of Marluxia and Demyx looking so irritatingly happy together he got into the front seat with Riku and instantly started pouting.
The silver haired man continued playing with the keys absent mindedly.
Zexion sighed.
“So wheres Sora at?”
Riku didn't even look at him...
“He's taking a nap... Roxas seems to be too... It's pretty quiet back there... Although how they could sleep through Demyx and Marluxia's jam session is beyond me...”
Zexion giggled a little and Riku shot him a sideways glance which made Zexion turn his giggle into clearing his throat.
“Uhm... Wanna go check out the hospital food or something...?”
“Sorry?”
“Do you wanna go check out the hospital food?”
Riku wondered what this was about...
But Sora was sleeping and he needed a break...
Sora was a handful and not quite what he'd expected...
“Sure... I'm kinda hungry anyway...”
Axel arrived back full of smiles to the camper van and Demyx grinned back at him when he arrived.
“So how did it go?”
Axel smirked.
“My suicide attempt was an epic failure... And I've never been happier!”
Demyx looked at him like he had ten heads then burst out laughing.
Marluxia shook his head at Axel and smiled.
“Don't worry Demyx you'll get used to his horrible sense of humour... Eventually...”
Namine was all smiles as they made their way back to the camper van.
“Phew... Well I'm glad thats over... Now we can go back to enjoying our holiday!”
Kairi shot Namine a sideways glance.
“Enjoying our holiday? Namine are you fucking blind? This whole things been a disaster!”
The blonde tilted her head to the side.
“Well it doesn't mean the whole thing has to be... Right?”
Kairi lifted her hand to her forehead.
“I slept with your boyfriend thinking he was mine, my boyfriend turned out to be gay, Zexion and Marluxia MUST have had a fight or something because they haven't fucked in hours, Axel tried to kill himself and I had a fucking pregnancy scare... And you expect us all just to act like THATS okay?”
Namine shrugged.
“I don't expect anyone to act like its okay... I just want everyone to try and make the best of a bad situation... Axel didn't succeed, you got the pill, me and Roxas are talking again, Zexion and Marluxia well if they broke up then this is a chance for them to meet new people and you have a chance to meet some hotties since you and Sora didn't work out! Axel picked up that Demyx guy who says you can't meet someone cute?”
Kairi sighed heavily.
“I don't think you understand me... I am not in such a good place right now after everything thats happened... I think I want to go home...”
“You can't go home Kairi! That leaves me as the only girl here!”
Kairi felt the sting of her words.
“You want me to stay not because you want me to feel better but because you'll be the only girl?!”
Namine backed off a little at Kairi's raised voice.
“That came out all wrong I'm sorry just give it a few more days and see how you feel Kairi... If you still hate it then go, if you feel thats what you need to do...”
Kairi took a deep breath and calmed down.
“I'm sorry for raising my voice Namine but my heads all over the place right now and I think I need to be alone...”
The blonde girl nodded slowly.
“Okay, well I'm here if you need me and if you want me to travel home with you I will... The last few days obviously havent been easy on you I'm sorry if I sounded insensitive... I just wanted everyone to have a good time on this trip... We've all been looking forward to it for so long and it hasn't even been a week yet...”
The brunette girl nodded.
“Okay... I'll give it another few days and if I'm still not feeling it I'll head home...”
Namine nodded.
“Okay then... How about you go get some rest then?”
Kairi nodded and sliding the door to the camper van open got inside and headed to the bedroom, when she opened the door she saw Sora and Roxas passed out cold on the bed.
“Ugh...”
Pulling a blanket out of the closet she lay on the floor and curled up in it.

With that thought drifting through her mind she drifted off to sleep.
Zexion and Riku strolled into the cafe in the hospital.
“Hmmm...”
Zexion looked at all the food available behind the glass and grinned, without warning he moved close to Riku and whsipered.
“I keep looking at the menu and then at the food and honestly I can't figure out which is which...”
Riku looked at the menu and at the food on display and stifled a laugh.
He lowered his voice and whispered back.
“Tell you what... We'll both choose something off the menu and guess which one they'll dish onto the plate whoever gets it wrong pays for the food!”
Zexion took another look at the food on display.
“And if we both get it wrong?”
“We'll just pay for our own then...”
Zexion nodded and looked up at the menu.
“Hmmm... Well the curry sounds appetising... What are you going to get?”
Riku stroked his chin thoughtfully.
“I'll get the... Stew...”
Zexion raised an eyebrow.
“But they ALL look like stew!”
Riku stifled a giggle as he approached the lady serving.
“They all look the bloody same you're going to have as much trouble picking curry out of this lot...”
Zexion looked at the dishes on display.
“Hmmm... Yeah maybe you're right... Tell me why are we doing this again?”
The silver haired teen shrugged.
“Boredom?”
Zexion nodded.
“Fair enough... I'd like the curry please...”
The lady grabbed a plate and Zexion pointed subtly at the metal vat he thought was holding the curry...
Riku watched at the lady went to the other end of the counter and dished something else onto his plate.
“Damn...”

“I was so sure that was the curry...”
The lady handed him his plate which he took and politely thanked the lady for.
Riku looked over everything behind the counter before smiling politely at the woman serving.
“I'll have the stew please...”
He pointed to a metal vat and Zexion watched as the woman moved towards it.
“No fucking way...”
And dished food out of the one beside it...
“Awww... I was so sure I was right that time... Thank you...”
He took the plate from the woman and went to the cash desk.
“I guess we're both paying for our own then...”
Zexion laughed.
“Yeah but its totally worth it... Unless we get food poisoning...”
Everyone was settling into the van again when Demyx looked around.
“Hey we're missing Zexion and Riku...”
Axel looked around.
“Maybe they're still in there getting Zexion fixed up?”
Marluxia shook his head.
“No... Riku came straigtht back out and Zexion came back too actually...”
Axel nodded.
“Sure theres no rush... Maybe they're just getting food or something...”
Riku took a mouthful of his stew and spat it straight back out.
“Holy shit...”

“Oh come on it can't be that bad...”
Riku raised an eyebrow and pushed the plate towards him.
“Be my guest...”
Zexion poked it suspiciously with a spoon then took a small spoonful and put it into his mouth he spat it out into a tissue that was sitting on the table.

His tongue was out of his mouth and he was wiping it with the tissue.
“It tastes like vomit!”
Riku was wide eyed before he broke down into hysterics along with Zexion.
The silver haired man wiped tears from his eyes as he caught his breath from laughing.
“So how about we try yours now?”
Zexion took his spoon in his hand and smiled.
“Only if you go first!”
Riku shook his head and took the spoon.
“Chicken!”
Zexion faked offense.
“I am not a chicken! I simply care for my health and well being!”
The silver haired teen took a tiny spoonful and put it into his mouth and shuddered.
Zexion was wide eyed and looked horrified.
“What the hell? Did you just shudder?”
Riku nodded and handed the spoon to Zexion.
“Your turn...”
The blue haired teen looked at the 'curry' suspiciously and poked it a few times, then took a deep breath and shoved a spoonful into his mouth and tightly closed his eyes and swallowed.
Riku waited for the verdict...
Zexion opened his eyes slowly.
“Actually its not all that bad...”
Riku laughed and Zexion's mouth fell open.
“You little faker!”
Riku laughed loudly as Zexion slapped his arm playfully.
The blue haired teen checked his phone absent mindedly and gasped.
“We've been here nearly an hour! We'd better get back... Unless you want to try dessert?”
Riku burst into a fit of laughter and as they got up and left Riku started to wonder about Zexion...

“He's had a rough time... We should probably leave him be... But certainly not leave him alone...”
Riku shot Zexion a look that the concerned teen didn't even respond to.

Axel was breathing heavily leaning over the toilet.
Zexion was sitting on the floor of the tiny bathroom near him.

“You think because you made me throw up the pills I'll fall down at your fucking feet and see that you're amazing? I want to die... And you couldn't even let me have that...”

Axel stumbled to his feet.

Axel stumbled out of the bathroom and towards the door.
Zexion stood up from the floor.
“Where are you going?”

“You can't go out Axel we need to get you to a hospital...”
“I am not going to a fucking hospital... And Zexion I don't know what you're taking but I liked you better when you were a prick...”
Zexion stood in front of the door blocking Axel's path.
“Zexion you'd best not give me a reason to hit you right now... Because I WILL.”
The blue haired teen braced himself and didn't move...
Axel swung full force and punched Zexion in the nose, he fell back through the door which swung open and fell onto the ground.
He reached up to his nose and looked at the blood on his hand...
It was the same colour as Axel's hair...
He was wide eyed, he knew Axel would hit him, but was still shocked by the blood on his hand...
Axel shook his head at the blood on his t shirt and went in to change, everyone moved out of his way as he moved...
Except Riku.
“So what you think you can just fucking waltz in here try to off yourself and then throw a fucking tantrum when your friends are concerned about you? It's not gonna work like that Axel...”
Axel's eyes narrowed.
“Riku... I'm in no fucking mood...”
Riku moved closer to him really getting in his face.
“And you think I fucking am! Now sit the fuck down we're going to a hospital NOW!”
Axel sat down in the shock of Riku raising his voice to him.
The silver haired teen took a deep breath.
“Look Axel... I get you're going through tough shit right now okay... But we need to get you checked out and make sure that you puked all that shit outta your system... Plus it looks like you may have broken Zexion's nose...”
He smiled slightly without intending to do so at this fact.
“Right... Is everyone here?”
“Me, Axel, Sora, Marluxia, Kairi, Roxas, Namine and Zexion... Okay, dude do we have a map anywhere...?”
The redhead sighed calmer now.
“Can I just go to one place before we leave completely?”
Riku raised an eyebrow.
“Uhm... Okay I guess... Where?”
Axel laughed humourlessly.
“A little bar in town... I have to apologise to someone...”
The silver haired teen nodded and after helping Zexion into a seat and giving him a towel to keep the blood coming from his nose at bay, he pulled off down the hill to the town.
“Right Axel we're coming up to that pub... Be quick okay?”
Axel nodded.
“Sure thing... Thanks Riku.”
The redhead waited by the side door and when Riku pulled up to the pub Axel was out even before the vehicle fully stopped...
Everyone in the van watched as Axel peeked in through the window and waved then went inside...
Riku had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.
The blonde was standing behind the bar.
“Hey... What's up...”
Axel smiled.
“I'm sorry about the other night... I was just... Stupid...”
With that he turned on Demyx and walked out through the front door...
The blonde dropped the glass he had in his hand and jumped over the bar.
He followed Axel outside and tipped him on the shoulder, Axel turned and Demyx captured his lips with his own.
Cheers escaped the windows of the camper van...
But two of its occupants watched from the windows in heartbreak, as the blondes arms found their way around the redheads neck.
Demyx pulled back slowly, looking into Axel's green eyes.
“Take me with you.”
Axel's eyes blinked in surprised and a smile broke out over his features.
“That's a crazy idea...”
His blue eyes twinkled in anticipation.
Axel turned to the camper van and all the staring eyes.
“Room for one more guys?”
All but two of the occupants of the camper van cheered.
“I guess thats a yes then...”
The blonde grinned from ear to ear then grabbed Axel's hand and ran back into the pub.
“I just gotta grab some things quickly before Xaldin gets back from lunch...”
Axel smiled at Demyx as he ran up some back stairs which Axel followed him up...
He grabbed some random items and ran back down.
“Do you live here?”
Demyx shook his head.
“Not all the time...”
The redhead shot him an odd look.
“Xaldin's my stepdad... He's really ehm... Weird about people being gay... Gayness as a general whole... Yeah... He's tried to set me up with endless local girls...”
Axel nodded in understanding.
“Hey is it okay if I stop by my house? I just gotta grab some clothes... It's only up the street.”

The two ran out of the pub again and the interested crowd gathered at the window again.
“Where are they going now?”

Demyx opened the front door to a house with a yellow door, Axel followed him in.
“Are you sure you just want to up and leave here? You're sure you won't regret this tomorrow or a week down the line?”
Demyx opened his bedroom door and entering pulled open the closet.
He pulled out a travellers backpack and started throwing things into it, Axel laughed and started helping him.
“I promise you Axel... I won't regret this.”
The redhead smiled and kept throwing things into the backpack.
“Okay... Thats everything... I just need to grab my sitar...”
Axel raised an eyebrow.
“What's a sitar?”

“Like a guitar... But ten times cooler!”

“Right is that everything?”

The redhead noticed his trembling limbs.

“I'm just so excited... And nervous... I hope your friends will like me...”

Demyx nodded and pulled the backpack onto his back, then grabbed the sitar case.
“Okay, I'm ready!”
Axel led the way down the stairs, Demyx stopped in the hallway and scribbled a quick note.

With that they went out of the front door and walked briskly back up the street to the campervan.

Roxas whispered something to Namine then nudged Kairi to follow him into the bedroom, which she did almost immediately.
Roxas sat down on the bed and Kairi closed the door firmly after herself.
“Okay... We're heading towards the hospital now... Have you ever gotten this... Pill before?”

The door clicked open and Namine stood in the doorway, she closed the door behind herself gently.

The aunburn girl looked up from her shoes into her best friends eyes, she stood up and hugged her closely and burst into tears.
“Namine I'm so sorry I never meant for it to happen I thought he was Sora and just...”
She was trying to catch her breath through her tears.
Namine held her and patted her back gently.
“It's okay it's okay... I'll come in with you and we'll get this whole mess sorted out okay?”

They arrived at the hospital less than half an hour later.

“Well... I tried to overdose when I got back here...”

Once they were gone Namine walked out of the bedroom.

She could hear Demyx tuning his sitar before walking into the brightly lit hospital.

She saw Namine standing near the reception.
“Okay... Usually you need a prescription... But they should have a family planning part to the hospital where they'll give it to you after you chat to a doctor...”
The brunette girl nodded slowly, thoughts wandering.
Namine walked up to the reception desk.
“Hello... I was just wondering if you have family planning services available in this hospital?”
Kairi watched as the woman explained the way...

Her mind created this tiny little thing inside her, with a beating heart and hands...

“Okay... You seem to be fine Axel... Your blood is carrying a bit of the drug around your body but its harmless... You're lucky you vomited...”

“Well my friends are waiting on me outside... But we're in the middle of a holiday travelling around the place.”

“I see... Well take care Axel... I'd advise you to stay around your friends especially if you are feeling extremely low... But if you're all travelling around together that shouldn't be a problem.”

“Trust me... I won't be trying that again...”

Kairi sat in the waiting waiting room with Namine who was flipping through a magazine...

“You just need to take this once, you may experience some lower abdominal pain, but it will pass within an hour or so... Okay?”

“You can pay the receptionist on the way out.”

The brunette left the doctors office and paid the lady in the small waiting room.

“So did you get it?”

“Okay... We'll get some water out of the vending machine and you can take it before we get back into the van okay?”

Staring at the little silver blister packet she popped the pill out of the foil and looked at it...

“Okay, well I'm here if you need me and if you want me to travel home with you I will... The last few days obviously havent been easy on you I'm sorry if I sounded insensitive... I just wanted everyone to have a good time on this trip... We've all been looking forward to it for so long and it hasn't even been a week yet...”
The brunette girl nodded.
“Okay... I'll give it another few days and if I'm still not feeling it I'll head home...”
Namine nodded.
“Okay then... How about you go get some rest then?”
Kairi nodded and sliding the door to the camper van open got inside and headed to the bedroom, when she opened the door she saw Sora and Roxas passed out cold on the bed.
“Ugh...”
Pulling a blanket out of the closet she lay on the floor and curled up in it.
/Guess I'll just see what happens.../
With that thought drifting through her mind she drifted off to sleep.
Zexion and Riku strolled into the cafe in the hospital.
“Hmmm...”
Zexion looked at all the food available behind the glass and grinned, without warning he moved close to Riku and whsipered.
“I keep looking at the menu and then at the food and honestly I can't figure out which is which...”
Riku looked at the menu and at the food on display and stifled a laugh.
He lowered his voice and whispered back.
“Tell you what... We'll both choose something off the menu and guess which one they'll dish onto the plate whoever gets it wrong pays for the food!”
Zexion took another look at the food on display.
“And if we both get it wrong?”
“We'll just pay for our own then...”
Zexion nodded and looked up at the menu.
“Hmmm... Well the curry sounds appetising... What are you going to get?”
Riku stroked his chin thoughtfully.
“I'll get the... Stew...”
Zexion raised an eyebrow.
“But they ALL look like stew!”
Riku stifled a giggle as he approached the lady serving.
“They all look the bloody same you're going to have as much trouble picking curry out of this lot...”
Zexion looked at the dishes on display.
“Hmmm... Yeah maybe you're right... Tell me why are we doing this again?”
The silver haired teen shrugged.
“Boredom?”
Zexion nodded.
“Fair enough... I'd like the curry please...”
The lady grabbed a plate and Zexion pointed subtly at the metal vat he thought was holding the curry...
Riku watched at the lady went to the other end of the counter and dished something else onto his plate.
“Damn...”
Zexion whispered.
“I was so sure that was the curry...”
The lady handed him his plate which he took and politely thanked the lady for.
Riku looked over everything behind the counter before smiling politely at the woman serving.
“I'll have the stew please...”
He pointed to a metal vat and Zexion watched as the woman moved towards it.
“No fucking way...”
And dished food out of the one beside it...
“Awww... I was so sure I was right that time... Thank you...”
He took the plate from the woman and went to the cash desk.
“I guess we're both paying for our own then...”
Zexion laughed.
“Yeah but its totally worth it... Unless we get food poisoning...”
Everyone was settling into the van again when Demyx looked around.
“Hey we're missing Zexion and Riku...”
Axel looked around.
“Maybe they're still in there getting Zexion fixed up?”
Marluxia shook his head.
“No... Riku came straigtht back out and Zexion came back too actually...”
Axel nodded.
“Sure theres no rush... Maybe they're just getting food or something...”
Riku took a mouthful of his stew and spat it straight back out.
“Holy shit...”
Zexion laughed at Riku.
“Oh come on it can't be that bad...”
Riku raised an eyebrow and pushed the plate towards him.
“Be my guest...”
Zexion poked it suspiciously with a spoon then took a small spoonful and put it into his mouth he spat it out into a tissue that was sitting on the table.
“Oh my god!”
His tongue was out of his mouth and he was wiping it with the tissue.
“It tastes like vomit!”
Riku was wide eyed before he broke down into hysterics along with Zexion.
The silver haired man wiped tears from his eyes as he caught his breath from laughing.
“So how about we try yours now?”
Zexion took his spoon in his hand and smiled.
“Only if you go first!”
Riku shook his head and took the spoon.
“Chicken!”
Zexion faked offense.
“I am not a chicken! I simply care for my health and well being!”
The silver haired teen took a tiny spoonful and put it into his mouth and shuddered.
Zexion was wide eyed and looked horrified.
“What the hell? Did you just shudder?”
Riku nodded and handed the spoon to Zexion.
“Your turn...”
The blue haired teen looked at the 'curry' suspiciously and poked it a few times, then took a deep breath and shoved a spoonful into his mouth and tightly closed his eyes and swallowed.
Riku waited for the verdict...
Zexion opened his eyes slowly.
“Actually its not all that bad...”
Riku laughed and Zexion's mouth fell open.
“You little faker!”
Riku laughed loudly as Zexion slapped his arm playfully.
The blue haired teen checked his phone absent mindedly and gasped.
“We've been here nearly an hour! We'd better get back... Unless you want to try dessert?”
Riku burst into a fit of laughter and as they got up and left Riku started to wonder about Zexion...
/He's different now... Maybe Axel's near suicide and the break up changed him...?/
Zexion shot Riku a side glance as they were walking out.
/He's so fun... I wonder why I never noticed before.../
As they walked Zexion could see him from the corner of his eye.
/He's so tall... And well built... I wonder... Oh fuck.../
Riku sighed sadly as they arrived back at the camper van.
/I wish we could have more time to hang out without everyone watching us.../
He realised what he was thinking and his face dropped.
/Oh shit.../
